The WSU Early Career Seabirders' Committee invites you to join us for our February ECS Coffee Hour on Monday 22 February from 1600-1700 UTC (Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87551018101?pwd=Wk9lQlR0dDNVWW5QY1ErQVhNOEFtUT09). This month, we'll focus on research and career opportunities in museum collections with Dr. Alexander Bond (Senior Curator of Birds, Natural History Museum, London). Alex has conducted fieldwork with seabirds worldwide with a variety of academic and non-governmental organizations. He is an Editor in Chief of Avian Ecology and Conservation, and advocates for social justice, representation, and queer issues in ecology and STEM through his blog (https://labandfield.wordpress.com/) and Twitter account (@TheLabAndField).
The ECS Coffee Hour is a monthly informal meeting of early career seabirders focused on work, life, and everything in between. If you have suggestions for future topics or are interested in participating as a host or guest, please contact Juliet (Twitter: @project_pelican; e-mail: jslamb AT uri DOT edu).
