Climate Change and Seabird Researcher
- Location: Cambridge, UK
- Duration: 1 year fixed-term
We are looking for someone to conduct research to evaluate the projected impacts of climate change on marine Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas (IBAs) and Ecologically and Biologically Significant Areas (EBSAs) using seabird data and global datasets on climate change, with a particular focus on the Indian Ocean. The role will include analysing a range of available data layers and seabird threat data, and publishing results as original scientific manuscripts.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A PhD in a relevant subject
- Strong experience in data analysis including working with large spatial datasets; and skills in modelling, and relevant statistical techniques
- Strong publication record
- The right to work in the UK
