JNCC are looking for a motivated individual to join our team of seabird ecologists to contribute to a mixed and dynamic portfolio of work. Our work spans a range of seabird conservation issues, including: advice on the impacts of marine renewable energy development; the identification of marine Special Protection Areas; developing and running marine monitoring programmes; and contributing to research and development projects.
If you have a good understanding of bird population ecology (particularly seabirds), statistical experience and the ability to work with spatial data, we would like to hear from you. Knowledge of the legislative framework for delivering nature conservation in the UK would be an advantage.
