Seabirds on the radio

Edward Abraham, August 1, 2013

For some reason, there has been a run of seabird news items on Radio New Zealand in the last few days:

A news item about southern seabird solutions, and their work with fishers to reduce bycatch.

A programme featuring Graham Elliot and Kath Walker talking about their work with Antipodean and Gibson's albatross, and describing the recent decline in the populations of these species.

Finlay Thompson and myself talking in general about estimating seabird bycatch in New Zealand fisheries.
