Ms Juliana Rechetelo

James Cook University, Australia

I am a PhD student at James Cook University, Townsville. Currently I am studying the effects of land use changes in granivorous assemblage in Eastern Australia. From 2006 to 2010 I joined activities of an Ornithological Laboratory in my home country Brazil where I helped with sea bird research (sea bird monitoring, sea bird breeding monitoring, sea bird interaction with artisanal/local fishery). I also joined an expedition to an off-shore island in northeast of Brazil to study Audubon's Shearwater (Puffinus lherminieri) and also census of marine birds (terns, boobies, frigatebirds, etc). Although I am not studying sea bird at the moment, I have a deep interest on them.
