Lab ECOMAR - University of La Réunion Réunion
I am a PhD student working about the human impacts at land of the nocturnal seabirds in Réunion Island (Indian Ocean). I use a ornithological radar in vertical mode (1.5 km range) to assess where, when and how many birds fly at different temporal, spatial and altitudinal scales. I also use automatic recorders to monitor the vocal activity of these nocturnal seabirds (Barau's petrel, tropical shearwater and wedge-tailed shearwater) at colonies. I finally try to assess the collision and light attraction risks at the island scale.
I am also interested by lots of different topics about seabird all over the world.
